SWOC analysis of the department and Future plans:
STRENGTH:
To teach students to think and to write clearly; to read carefully and critically; to reason effectively and systematically; and to reflect on major questions concerning moral values and the good life.
WEAKNESSES:
Lack of adequate number of departmental rooms and the departmental office room is not spacious.
OPPORTUNITIES:
Diploma in value/moral education may be introduced to promote the development.
CHALLENGES:
To attract students to the subject by removing all misconceptions that it has no practical value now a day.
FUTURE PLAN:
We will continue to foster contexts in which students are encouraged to spend time outside of the classroom, involved in extra-curricular activities, and Department sponsored event with faculty. We will remain active participants in our students academic lives.
